Mr. Valeriy Bender, a Perm artist, participated in US Art Festival

In the frame of the development of Perm-Louisville Sister City relationship Perm artists have been having an opportunity to successfully represent their art (since 2003) at one of the most prestigious art festivals in the USA - St. James Court Art Show. The Festival is annually held in Louisville (KY) in October with participation of both American artists and representatives of Lousville's sister-cities. The Perm City Council jointly with the Sister-Cities of Louisville, Inc. scheduled participation of Mr. Bender in St.James Court Art Show of 2008.

Mr. Bender's works are mainly lyrical landscapes which convey the feeling of the places seen by the artist. His subtle pastels are kept in private collections both in Russia and abroad. Now some of his works are in private collections and galleries of Perm's Sister-City in the United States.
